Privacy Policy How we handle your data.
Last updated: 12 sections
This Privacy Policy explains how Autoslop.ai (“Autoslop”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use Autoslop, an AI video generator for short-form video, including the website at autoslop.ai and the web app (the “Service”).
It also explains the choices you have, including how to access or delete your data. Terms we don’t define here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal information is Autoslop.ai. You can contact us about privacy at support@autoslop.ai.
Data we collect
| Account | Name, email address and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself). If you sign in with Google: your Google name, email address and profile picture. Your time zone and settings. |
|---|---|
| Billing | Your plan, billing interval, subscription status, invoices, amounts paid and billing country. Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe; we never receive or store full card numbers. |
| Content | Your prompts, story text, onboarding answers and video settings, and everything generated from them: scripts, voiceovers, images, video clips, captions and finished videos. Credit usage for each video. |
| Social connections | For accounts you connect: platform, account id, handle, display name and avatar, and the captions, schedules and status of posts you make through Autoslop. To post or schedule a video, we send it with its caption, schedule and the accounts you picked to our publishing partner, a social publishing service provider that delivers it to the platforms you choose. The access tokens for those accounts are held by our publishing partner, not by us. |
| Usage and device | IP address, browser and device type (user agent), pages and features used, timestamps, and error and security logs. We derive an approximate country from your IP address. |
| Analytics and ad attribution | Ad click ids (fbclid, gclid, gbraid, wbraid), UTM parameters, referrer and landing page, stored in first-party cookies; and, through Google Analytics, a random browser id and session id (_ga cookies), the pages you view and actions such as signing up and starting a checkout (see Analytics and ad measurement). |
| Communications | Messages you send us, and delivery information for the emails we send you. Whether you get product news and tips. It’s on by default; turn it off when you sign up, in Settings → Privacy, or with the unsubscribe link in any of those emails. |

We don’t make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means.
Analytics and ad measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use Autoslop, and we advertise on Google and Meta (Facebook, Instagram). We don’t show a cookie or consent banner for this. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding our Service and measuring our advertising, as described here, and you can object at any time.
Google Analytics (in your browser)
Our pages load Google Analytics, a script provided by Google. It sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_…) with a random browser id and session id, and records the pages you view, your browser, device and approximate location, how you arrived (including ad click ids such as gclid), and actions such as signing up and starting a checkout. When you are signed in, we also send your Autoslop user id, a random identifier (never your name or email address), so visits from your different devices count as one user.
Purchases (from our server)
When a payment succeeds, our server reports it to Google Analytics: a purchase (the first payment of a subscription, or a credit pack) with its value excluding tax, currency, plan or pack and a transaction id, linked to the browser and session ids from when you started checkout and to your Autoslop user id. Renewals are reported as a separate event, and refunds as refunds. Our Google Analytics property is linked to our Google Ads account, which imports purchases to measure which ads work.
We also send conversion events from our server to Meta’s Conversions API. Meta receives no browser script from us.
- The event: sign-up, checkout started, purchase (with its value, excluding tax, and currency) or first finished video, with its time and a unique event id.
- Matching data: a SHA-256 hash of your email address, your IP address and user agent, and the click and browser ids from our first-party cookies (
_fbp,_fbc). - Renewals are never reported to Meta.
We never send your prompts, scripts or videos to Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta.
Objecting, anywhere
You can object at any time, wherever you live: email support@autoslop.ai from the address on your account, and from then on our server sends no analytics or conversion events about you. To stop Google Analytics in your browser, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout (opens in a new tab)), a content blocker, or your browser’s cookie settings. Objecting never affects what you can do in the Service.
Google and Meta process this data under their own terms. We keep a log of the events we send for 18 months. Google Analytics keeps event data for up to 14 months.
AI processing
Making a video means sending parts of your content to AI providers:
- OpenAI receives your prompts, story text and onboarding answers to write scripts, suggest ideas, write captions and hashtags, and check prompts against our content rules. We send these requests with OpenAI’s storage for later retrieval switched off.
- fal.ai receives scene descriptions derived from your script, and the resulting images, to generate images and video clips. fal.ai routes each request to the model you or the Service choose, which may be operated by Google, OpenAI, xAI, Meta, MiniMax or Kuaishou.
- ElevenLabs receives your script to produce the voiceover and the word timings used for captions.
We don’t use your content to train AI models. Each provider processes requests under its API terms and retains data only as those terms allow. Generated media is copied into our own storage, and your finished video is rendered on our infrastructure.
International transfers
Our service providers are mostly based in the United States (Mailchimp, for example, processes in the US), so your information may be processed outside your country. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on adequacy decisions (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, where the recipient is certified) or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK addendum, together with additional safeguards where needed.
How long we keep it
| Account data | While your account is active. Deleted when you delete your account. |
|---|---|
| Videos and generated media | Until you delete them. Deleting a video removes its media from our storage and CDN. After you delete your account, all remaining media is purged within 30 days. |
| Prompts, scripts and settings | Stored with each video and deleted with it. |
| Billing records | As long as tax and accounting laws require, even after your account is deleted. |
| Logs of the analytics and ad-conversion events we send | 18 months. |
| Marketing contact (Mailchimp) | Until you unsubscribe or delete your account. On deletion we archive it in Mailchimp so your unsubscribe is remembered; ask us and we’ll erase it completely. |
| Google Analytics event data | Up to 14 months, in Google Analytics. |
| Security and server logs | For a limited period, as needed to keep the Service secure and fix problems. |

United States residents (including California)
In the past 12 months we have collected the categories described in Data we collect: identifiers (such as name, email and IP address), commercial information (plans and purchases), internet activity, approximate location derived from IP address, and audio and visual content you create. We use them for the business purposes described above and disclose them to the service providers we use to run the Service.
- We don’t sell personal information.
- The only “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising is the analytics and ad measurement described above (Google Analytics, linked to Google Ads, and Meta’s Conversions API). You can opt out of it at any time by emailing support@autoslop.ai.
- We don’t collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
- You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact support@autoslop.ai and we will delete it.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), private storage buckets, access controls with least privilege, hashed passwords and signed webhooks. Media is served through our CDN from long, randomly generated addresses that can’t be guessed.
Anyone who has the link to a video file can open it, so share download links with care. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version.
